The Swift Fund for the Arts inaugural MINE (Music Innovation & Exploration) 2015 grant is open to high school programs in Placer and Nevada Counties, California.  The grant seeks to reward and support a music program, club or organization that demonstrates innovation, opportunity and exploration of musical pursuits of any kind.  The program should encourage opportunities for the diversity of students in the host school, enhance a fun and educational environment for students and provide an opportunity for musical exhibition and exploration. The program needs to be endorsed by an instructor and by the principal of the school.  The selected program may be of any instrument, technology, genre or level of expertise – the primary selection criteria will be based upon the submitted information, including an essay/program statement prepared by student(s) in the program.
